After years of being a conflicted primatologist who consumed products that directly endangered primates, Magdalena set out to completely rid her life of conflict palm-oil, a lifestyle change that soon evolved into the magazine you see today. She loves comic books, punk music, and vegan tacos.
Collin is a freelance writer currently living in Texas. He originally hails from Arizona and when he's not enforcing bag bans and fighting plastic, he can be found making music, playing guitar, and performing all over the Lone Star State. He is also a co-founding member of Selva Beat.

Brianna graduated from The University of Texas with an English degree and has been living in Austin correcting people's grammar ever since. She works at SXSW on the Journalism track and spends the rest of her time loving on her dog, organizing socialist feminist action, and eating dessert.

After culinary school and stints at various restaurant in Las Vegas, she decided to return home to Texas—mainly for breakfast tacos and Topo Chico. Her love of food and words led to the start of the blog, Flavor and Bounty, where she documents her forays back into the kitchen.

Rochelle is a media student at The University of Texas focused on using her creativity towards activism. As a lifelong traveler and woman of three nationalities, she is interested in the intersection of culture and ethical consumerism.
