BFF Status in 5 Minutes with Malorie Bertrand

This is the feature in which we help you achieve BFF status with cool people we know. We think your choice of emoji says more about you than your five year plan, and that your favorite sad desk lunch is more telling than your latest inspiration.

Malorie Bertrand doesn’t want you to buy anything you don’t need. Her online shop, Either/Or, carries only Canadian ethical and sustainable fashion labels β€” nothing more, nothing less. The idea grew organically from her collected knowledge of the industry writing for her blog, EF Magazine, and a freelance styling gig in Ottawa, where she lives. Her clients wanted more space and better quality fashion, but needed help finding it. Steeped in the belief that simple is beautiful, Malorie now maintains a small collection of minimal, stylish, well-crafted pieces made by independent designers in her shop. Get to know her here, in five minutes or less.
