That's What She Said Unofficial SXSW Showcase

Did you know that in 2015, the Austin Music Census reported only 20% of Austin musicians were female? (Austin didn't include/recognize our non-binary musicians) Well, this year we're celebrating the women and nonbinary folx of Austin, of SXSW, and of our community at large. #nomorebroshows

Every band at this showcase has AT LEAST one female/non-binary musician. Every vendor is a female-owned business, crafter, or artist.

$$FREE$$ BUT we will be raffling off some sweet prizes and art to help raise money for YWCA ATX and allgo qpoc so bring some cash.

THIS VENUE IS A HOME. Be kind to it. Plz don't bring glass. Respect the house. Respect each other. Don't step on the garden.

GET CONSENT: This will be a place where you are in control of your own body and your body alone, mutual respect for personal space is expected, consent is required, and oppressive behavior will not be tolerated. Consent is not an assumption but a mutual agreement found through conscious and clear dialogue. Oppressive behavior is the unconsenting exercise of power over another in a burdensome or unjust manner. These principles aim to create a place for mutually respectful curiosity and exploration.
